If you’ve been shopping for workout clothes lately, you may have seen labels making some extraordinary claims—namely, that you can work up a sweat and your clothes won’t smell when your exercise session is over. Sound too good to be true?
You may want to think twice
about buying clothes making such claims, because the anti-bacterial properties are brought to you by nanotechnology. While certain nanoparticles in clothing can kill off bacteria, as a whole they are largely untested, barely regulated, and may pose serious risks to your health and the Earth.

This Type Of Mask Is Now Banned From Delta Flights
Delta is tightening regulations for mask-wearing on its flights and released a statement this week that masks with exhaust valves are no longer allowed on their air crafts.
“Any mask with an exhaust valve is not approved as an acceptable face mask for customers traveling on any Delta operated flight,” the Delta website now states.
Masks with exhaust valves are intended for use in industrial environments like construction to avoid inhaling material particles, however they do not prevent the spread of virus particles.
The exhaust allows virus particles to escape the mask which means that if you have COVID-19, you can spread the disease while wearing the mask.
So, what type of mask should you wear? A simple cloth mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times suffices. If you’re not sure about your mask then Delta also provides masks to wear.
Additionally, plastic face shields do not suffice as face coverings. They can be worn in addition to a nose and mouth-covering mask but not on its own.
It’s important to know that masks are required from end to end traveling with Delta. You will be required to wear a mask during lobby check-in, Delta Sky Clubs, boarding gate areas, jet bridges and of course, on board.
While earlier this year there were fewer regulation about wearing masks on flights, all airlines now require them on their flights. Airlines are banning customers who refuse to wear masks and also cracking down on those who incorrectly claim to have health conditions preventing them from wearing masks.

I picked up 3 masks at Astrid's yesterday (May 21st 2020). Immediately tried on when I got home and they were great. Very comfortable - didn't pull my ears forward, didn't make me sweat, didn't hurt my nose, didn't "breathe them in". So far so good. My husband also said he thought they were comfortable and had good coverage Waiting for a report from my son who wore his to work at Publix. He has tried several styles and materials from other sellers and always has a complaint. Keeping my fingers crossed this is the one.

I received our masks in the mail today and they are wonderful! Thank you so much for taking the time to make adjustable kids' masks for the kiddos. I absolutely love the patterns and the craftsmanship is incredible. I will definitely recommend your masks to my friends and family.

Good Morning Astrid,
I sent that last pack of masks to my son and family in Ohio. They loved them and the masks fit my grandchildren very well. Thanks. I also sent my sister your masks in North Carolina. She is a 1st grade teacher and told me yesterday they are the most comfortable masks she wears.

Hi Astrid,
I have purchased several masks from Astrid. They are much more comfortable than other masks I have purchased and they wash very well. I just put them in a lingerie bag. They do not shrink. Astrid's masks are extremely affordable. She has so many patterns so I can afford to buy one for everyday. Astrid will also work with you if you need the elastic longer or shorter. You won't find a more affordable, easy to wash and wear mask and they are cute!
